1959 戰爭簡介： 18世紀中葉，日不落帝國英吉利將觸角伸向古老的中國，并通過大量輸入鴉片來掠奪錢財。白銀大量流向國外，中國人民卻被鴉片毒害得愈加羸弱。在清廷內部，以穆扎阿（夏天 飾）為首的投降派和以林則徐（趙丹 飾）為首的抵抗派針鋒相對，斗爭激烈。道光皇帝眼見天朝因鴉片所害漸漸羸弱，因而大力支持林則徐的禁煙政策，并任命其為欽差大臣前往廣州查禁鴉片。林則徐來到廣州后雷厲風行，令行禁止，讓一度輕視他的英國鴉片商人大為驚恐。經過一段時間的治理，當地海防得到整頓，英商也被迫交出鴉片。最終，林則徐在虎門銷毀兩萬多箱鴉片，取得禁煙的重大勝利。 然而，不堪受挫的英國隨即挑起鴉片戰爭，朝廷內部的投降派也不失時機廣進讒言，林則徐的改革之路頓陷困境…… -
